Why I built the UK’s First Cholesterol-Lowering programme

Before I dive into the details of the Heart-Healthy Living Programme, I want to tell you how it came to life and why I believe it’s something truly special.

From Fat Loss to Heart Health

In 2024, I was working as a health coach. While I was passionate about helping people prevent and reduce chronic health conditions, the majority of my clients came to me wanting to lose weight.


Then I met someone who changed everything.


Let’s call her Sarah.


She’d recently had a GP appointment and was in shock after being told she had high cholesterol. Statins were on the table, but she was given a three-month window to try lifestyle changes first. She wasn’t sure what to do. Her diet didn’t seem that bad, and she exercised here and there. She saw a dietitian but was still left confused by all the conflicting advice online.


At just 42, she didn’t want to be on daily medication for life and she was desperate to avoid it.


So she reached out to me.

A Turning Point

Together, we got to work. I taught her the specific, evidence-based changes that lower cholesterol naturally, and I coached her on how to stay consistent, even when life got in the way.


Three months later, her total cholesterol had dropped by 40%, into healthy ranges. No statins needed.


That moment changed everything . Not just for her, but for me too.


I realised this was about far more than weight loss or eating a bit better. This was about helping people take back control of their health, reduce their risk of heart attacks and strokes, and avoid medication where possible, all through empowering, realistic lifestyle changes.

An Idea Was Born

Around that time, I was considering turning my monthly coaching into a structured 12-week course. Then, on a dog walk, the idea clicked: what if I created a programme just for people like Sarah?


I rushed home to check if anything like it already existed in the UK and was stunned to find nothing.


So I built it.
